“I am on a well with a high iron content, particularly the soluble iron which causes rust stains when it oxidizes in air. We had a standard ion exchange water softener, but this was ineffective in removing the excess iron. We installed one of Iron&Sulfur Filter’s HIM systems a year ago, and we are delighted to report that this unit has performed flawlessly, removing all traces of iron from the water, and running with no problems. We purchased the unit for delivery to the Maritimes, and found shipping costs remarkably reasonable. We were easily able to install the unit ourselves, using only simple DIY plumbing skills, following which Shawn walked us through the set-up procedures with impressive personal attention. When the initial set-up proved to be inadequate to remove the increased iron content in the water which occurred in the Spring, Shawn immediately responded with direction which solved the problem.
