SULFUR FILTERS AND REMOVERS
There are a few things in well water that can cause it to smell. In most cases, it is sulfur or H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide). This will give you a "rotten egg" smell or in some extreme cases make your water appear black when you first turn your taps on.
Sulfur is something in your water that is deteriorating or "rotting" that is giving off a sulfur smell.
Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) is a gas that can give a similar smell but can be stronger and more "consuming" than sulfur. To properly treat the problem we need to know which one it is.
The good news is that we have a few systems that can treat both without chemicals that are not complex to manage or expensive to buy and operate.
Below is a brief video about how we treat "smelly water".
